Amazing Love

We had so much fun yesterday.  Yesterday we had the Boos family, my father-law, two of Katelyn's friends (Robbie and Randy) and Hamed over, there were 18 of us all together.  We had a great feast (thank you Jennifer for all the yummy food and thank you again Ron for making me the greatest dining room table ever!), great conversation, and a great game of "capture the egg".  It was loads of fun that winded down at my parents for more food and fellowship.  I love Easter.  It is my favorite day of the year.  It is what being a Christian is all about.  Without what happened on the day we celebrate Easter, I have no hope.  With Easter I know Hope!  Why?  Because of what this verse says...

Mark 16:1-6:  "When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body.  Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, 'Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?'  But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away.  As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.  'Don't be alarmed," he said. 'You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified.  He has risen!  He is not here..."

HAPPY EASTER!         CHRIST HAS RISEN!         HE HAS RISEN INDEED!
